Another quiet day today. Her spirits are up and she is feeling well.
Tomorrow is Morgan's final assembly at her elementary school. It will be her last official day there. Next year she will be starting grade 8 at the high school.
Although she is sad to see her elementary days come to an end, she is looking forward to being able to go to the assembly as well as visiting with her friends.

Morgan had a good day. She ate well but battled with nausea for most of the day. She is starting to get a little bored being so couped up at home. So today we set up our tent trailer and she spent some time hanging out in there which she quite enjoyed.
Morgan was released from hospital late this afternoon. She is feeling a little nauseous today, but she is still managing to eat, which is great. She is happy to be home.
Morgan had a good day today. She was feeling good for most of the day and ate well. She battled with some nausea this evening and went to bed early. If all goes well, she will be going home tomorrow afternoon.
Morgan is doing well today. She started her chemo this morning and is feeling okay so far. She ate well today and slept a fair bit through out the day.
We got word today that her PET scan was clear! Meaning there are no additional signs of cancer anywhere else in her body right now. It is a big sigh of relief and we are overjoyed with the news. The doctors have said her tumor is shrinking as expected which is great news as well. The chemo is working!
Morgan had another busy day today. This morning she went into Children's to get her blood drawn and then headed over to the BC Cancer Agency to get her PET scan. Once she was finished there, she grabbed a quick bite to eat for lunch. Then she headed off to Centennial Beach to be with her grade 7 classmates for an afternoon at the beach. This evening she went out for dinner and to a movie with some family friends.
Her bloodwork came back and she is good to go to start her next round of chemo tomorrow morning. This will be a two day chemo. So, hopefully she will be back home by Saturday afternoon.
Morgan had a good day today. She relaxed for most of the day watching movies and playing on the computer.
In the afternoon, she went over to the high school and met with her new guidance counsellor for grade 8. She then took a little tour of the high school.
We are hopeful that next year, for grade 8, Morgan will be able to attend classes once or twice a month when her blood counts are good. The rest of her curriculum will be completed at home or at the hospital with the help of both a teacher who will visit Morgan at home and a teacher who will be working with Morgan while she is in the hospital.
Morgan had a busy day today. She went to Delta Hospital for blood work first thing this morning. We then we got word that she would need a blood transfusion at about 11am. She headed into Children's and was there for a total of 6 hours. All went well and she is back home tonight.
She ate well today and was in good spirits.
Morgan had a good day today. She spent the day with her dad watching movies in her room. She has managed to avoid a fever so far with this cold which is great news.
Tomorrow morning she will go to Delta Hospital to get her blood drawn. We will then wait to hear from her doctor on whether or not she will need to go in to Children's for a blood transfusion.
Morgan woke up with a cold today. We have to monitor her tempature frequently to make sure she does not develop a fever. If she does, we have to take her into Children's for IV antibiotics. So far so good. She has just hovered below a fever all day. Hopefully we can avoid it.
She has been in good spirits and eating well all day.
Morgan had a good day again today. Spirits are up and she has continued to eat well today.
She went to Children's this morning and had her blood drawn. Then she met with her doctor and got the results of her bloodwork. Her counts are severely low which is to be expected. Her hemoglobin is going down again and she will most likely need a blood transfusion on Monday.
Also, she went to pick up her real hair wig today. It took a few months to make as they had to get a hair color match and make the wig from scratch. She had her head sized for it a few months back and it is the perfect fit. She is super happy with it.
Morgan had a quiet day at home today. She ate well and was in good spirits.
We got a phone call from her doctor this evening letting us know that both the CT and MRI scans came back and they both looked good. She said Morgan's tumor is shrinking as expected. Great news! We now have to wait for the results of the PET scan next week. So far so good.
Morgan had a busy day today. We arrived at Children's at about 9:45 and didn't leave until around 4pm this afternoon. She had her bloodwork done when we arrived and then had both the CT scan and MRI. There was quite a bit of waiting around but we got it done.
After the two scans we went back to the oncology clinic to get the results from her blood work and to get started on the blood transfusion.
Morgan's hemoglobin had gone up, so we didn't end up needing the blood transfusion after all today! It was welcome news as we were not looking forward to the additional 3 hours we had anticipated having to stay for the transfusion.
Overall it was a good day. Morgan was in good spirits and has been eating well today. I managed to sneak a pic right before they started the CT scan. The CT and MRI machines both look pretty intimidating.
Morgan was discharged from the hospital this morning and made it home by around 10am. She has had a pretty good day. Her spirits are up and she has eaten quite a bit today.
Tomorrow morning we will head back to Children's for a CT scan, an MRI, and a blood transfusion. We expect we will be there for most of the day. Her hemoglobin has dropped again and that is the reason for the blood transfusion.
The two scans she will be getting tomorrow are in preparation for her upcoming surgery in July. The surgery will be to remove the remainder of the tumor from her collarbone as well as to see if she will need radiation in addition to the chemotherapy treatment.
She will have the two scans tomorrow as well as a PET scan next week. Then a team of doctors will review all three scans and discuss a plan of action for the surgery.
Morgan had an okay day again today. She was feeling nauseous and tired. Much of the same. She is looking forward to coming home tomorrow if all goes well. Today was her last full day of chemo.
Morgan has more color today. The blood transfusion really helped with that. She has been feeling pretty nauseous and tired all day. She ate fairly well again today and slept a lot.

Morgan had her ups and downs today. She was nauseous most of the day and very tired. She managed to still eat well.
She had a heart test today to see how her heart is handling the chemo so far. I believe it went well as we heard nothing more about it.
Her hemoglobin is very low. She is very tired and her color is off because of it. The Dr has informed us that it will continue to go down and she will most likely need a blood transfusion within the next few days.
Her spirits are low but she is coping fairly well so far.
Morgan had a good start to the day. She was feeling well and was happy.
As the day progressed and the chemo began to set in, her spirits dropped and she started to feel quite sick. She has been very nauseous and has slept quite a bit today. Hopefully she will feel a bit better tomorrow.
Morgan had a great day again today. She had her bloodwork done this morning and is good to go to start her chemo tomorrow.
She was able to attend her fieldtrip today and had a great time. Then this evening she went out for dinner and to a movie with friends.
We are back in the hospital tomorrow morning and if all goes well, she will be back home in 5 days.
Morgan had another great day today. She was feeling great all day. We took her out for lunch and to do a little clothes shopping. She picked up some comfy outfits for the hospital that she was quite pleased with. This evening She was able to go out and spend some much needed time with a few of her friends.
Tomorrow morning she will go back to Delta Hospital to get her blood drawn again to make sure she is good to start her 5 day chemo on Thursday. She is then going to join her grade 7 class for a field trip. It should be another good day for her tomorrow.

Morgan had her blood drawn this morning and we got the results early this afternoon. Her counts are on the rise, so that is great news. Her hemoglobin is still on the low side which makes her easily fatigued but, she is feeling okay. She had a good day today.
Quiet day today. Morgan was in good spirits. She ate well today and we had a family movie night tonight which she quite enjoyed. She is going to Delta Hospital in the morning to get her blood drawn to check her counts. Hopefully they are in the rise.

Carsen and I attended a fundraiser for Morgan this evening at a local pub in Ladner tonight. The support of the community has been overwhelming. It was really great to see every one this evening and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Words can not express how greatful we are. Thank you all so much.
Good day again today. We headed to the hospital first thing this morning and we were there until about 1pm. Morgan's counts are extremely low which is to be expected. She did not need a blood transfusion this time, which was great.
Another great day. Morgan is eating well and feeling good for the most part. She is in good spirits and for the first time since this all began, she seems back to her old self. I think she is getting used to the routine of this all. Our new normal. Now that she knows what to expect, it makes this all a little easier on her.
Tomorrow morning we head to the hospital for bloodwork to check her counts. We will find out if she needs a blood transfusion and meet with the doctor. If all goes well, we should be on our way back home just before lunchtime.
Sorry for the late post. I will combine both yesterday and today as both days have been good.
Morgan had a good day yesterday and is having another good day today at home. She watched movies, played on her computer, read and relaxed. She is back to eating well again and is in good spirits.
