Tuesday- Home today!

Morgan was discharged from the hospital this morning and made it home by around 10am. She has had a pretty good day. Her spirits are up and she has eaten quite a bit today.

Tomorrow morning we will head back to Children's for a CT scan, an MRI, and a blood transfusion. We expect we will be there for most of the day. Her hemoglobin has dropped again and that is the reason for the blood transfusion.

The two scans she will be getting tomorrow are in preparation for her upcoming surgery in July. The surgery will be to remove the remainder of the tumor from her collarbone as well as to see if she will need radiation in addition to the chemotherapy treatment.

She will have the two scans tomorrow as well as a PET scan next week. Then a team of doctors will review all three scans and discuss a plan of action for the surgery.
