Tuesday

Morgan had another great day today. She was feeling great all day. We took her out for lunch and to do a little clothes shopping. She picked up some comfy outfits for the hospital that she was quite pleased with. This evening She was able to go out and spend some much needed time with a few of her friends.

Tomorrow morning she will go back to Delta Hospital to get her blood drawn again to make sure she is good to start her 5 day chemo on Thursday. She is then going to join her grade 7 class for a field trip. It should be another good day for her tomorrow.

I was looking through some old pictures today. Here are a few pictures of Morgan when she was younger. So darn cute. Morgan has always been such a perfect daughter. She has always been so well behaved and such a smart little girl. We are so blessed ❤

Monday

Morgan had her blood drawn this morning and we got the results early this afternoon. Her counts are on the rise, so that is great news. Her hemoglobin is still on the low side which makes her easily fatigued but, she is feeling okay. She had a good day today.

Sunday

Quiet day today. Morgan was in good spirits. She ate well today and we had a family movie night tonight which she quite enjoyed. She is going to Delta Hospital in the morning to get her blood drawn to check her counts. Hopefully they are in the rise.

Saturday

Morgan had another good day today. She ate well and was in good spirits all day.

Carsen and I attended a fundraiser for Morgan this evening at a local pub in Ladner tonight. The support of the community has been overwhelming. It was really great to see every one this evening and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Words can not express how greatful we are. Thank you all so much.

Friday

Good day again today. We headed to the hospital first thing this morning and we were there until about 1pm. Morgan's counts are extremely low which is to be expected. She did not need a blood transfusion this time, which was great.

Thursday

Another great day. Morgan is eating well and feeling good for the most part. She is in good spirits and for the first time since this all began, she seems back to her old self. I think she is getting used to the routine of this all. Our new normal. Now that she knows what to expect, it makes this all a little easier on her.

Tomorrow morning we head to the hospital for bloodwork to check her counts. We will find out if she needs a blood transfusion and meet with the doctor. If all goes well, we should be on our way back home just before lunchtime.

Tuesday and Wednesday ( oops! sorry my post is late)

Sorry for the late post. I will combine both yesterday and today as both days have been good.

Morgan had a good day yesterday and is having another good day today at home. She watched movies, played on her computer, read and relaxed. She is back to eating well again and is in good spirits.
